Vintage Farm

An approach to Elkton made us think of Provence, France, with its rolling hills and open fields of farm land. Capping it off was the majestic and steady Umpqua River winding its way to the city, and Elk Creek which agreeably and pleasingly flows into it. And then there are the vineyards. One could not travel through Elkton without passing its many vineyards. The beauty, climate and soil provide a perfect home for Pino Noir. And so it was here, nestled behind a curtain of apple, cherry, pear and plum trees, amid an old red barn, that we established our own small vineyard of unique varietals at Vintage Farm.
